Great article, Ted! This is maybe why they are saying that Alzheimer's Disease is like "Type 3 diabetes". I've also heard that your gut is a second brain. Interesting research is really moving much more quickly than it used to when my dad suffered from AD.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. I'm sorry for your loss. My mom died from AD at 80. You lose them twice.

Yes, many physicians refer to AD as Type III. To me, the big question is, is it really Type III, or is there something that makes you susceptible (beyond behavior) to Type II that also makes you susceptible to AD?
